About Us

What we cover

MRL88 News reports on the sports Malaysian fans actually follow. That means the Premier League and European football on a Saturday night, but it also means the BWF World Tour, Harimau Malaya, the Malaysian domestic leagues, Formula 1, MotoGP and basketball.

Most international sports sites treat Southeast Asia as an afterthought. We start here.

What you will find

• Match reports filed as soon as results are confirmed
• Previews and team news ahead of major fixtures
• Standings, rankings and qualification races kept current through the season
• Guides and explainers that stay useful long after the week they were written

How we work

We report facts, not rumours. Results, scorelines, scorers and standings are checked against official sources — federation and competition websites, official results systems and team announcements — before anything is published.

We do not publish transfer gossip presented as fact, and we do not carry betting tips or odds.

Our full sourcing and corrections policy is set out in our Editorial Policy.
